A Decade of Educational Excellence
The journey is long, but we never stop pursuing excellence.
It all began with a few desks, a few chairs, and a group of international students determined to help one another succeed. From late-night tutoring sessions at UBC Irving Library to guiding first-year students through course planning, and welcoming newcomers at the airport, every step was driven by one simple belief: no student should navigate the journey alone.
Those small moments became the foundation of who we are. We didn't start with a grand vision or a business plan—just a genuine desire to help whenever someone needed it. Through years of dedication and student-first support, Look4 has grown from a small study group at UBC into a comprehensive education platform serving students across universities and disciplines.

Driven by perseverance and a shared commitment to students, the Look4 team has grown to include outstanding mentors from a wide range of disciplines. Today, our services span academic tutoring, graduate school admissions, career development, and international student support—creating Canada's unique end-to-end education ecosystem that guides students from high school to higher education and into their careers.
2016
- LOOK4 Education Group is officially founded.
- Introduced UBC's first semester-based academic support program.
- OFFER 101, LOOK4's undergraduate and graduate admissions division, is launched.
2017
- More than 50 semester-long courses are offered each academic term.
- Launches the CFA® Preparation Program.
- LOOK4 launches LOOK4CAREER, providing career development and job placement services for international students across Vancouver.
2018
- LOOK4 expands its semester-long academic support program to over 100 courses each term.
- Annual student enrollments exceed 8,000.
- LOOK4 launches Xunlu Immigration, its dedicated study abroad, visa, and immigration services brand.
2019
- LOOK4 provides work-study opportunities for over 100 international students across Metro Vancouver.
- LOOK4 begins a long-term partnership with UBC CSSA to better support the UBC student community.
- LOOK4 launches a dedicated High School Planning Division, providing comprehensive services for international high school students.
2020
- LOOK4 expands its semester-long academic support program to over 120 courses each term.
- Annual student enrollments exceed 10,000.
- LOOK4 partners with the Ningbo (China) Institute for Supply Chain Innovation—an MIT Global SCALE Network member—to launch the “Homecoming” Growth Program for international students in North America.
2021
- LOOK4 hosts the first post-pandemic UBC Orientation Ceremony, bringing together over 800 UBC students, student organizations, and community partners.
- LOOK4 offers over 300 semester-long courses each term, covering all majors across UBC, Alexander College, and Corpus Christi College.
- LOOK4 elevates its University Academic Services and Academic Planning System into a core strategic division of the Group.
2022
- LOOK4’s OFFER 101 partners with the University of Toronto Chinese Students and Scholars Association (UTCSSA), expanding its services to international students across the Greater Toronto Area.
- LOOK4 Group founder Irene Ding is named to the 2022 Hurun Canada Under 30s list of young entrepreneurs.
- Annual student enrollments exceed 30,000.
2023
- LOOK4CAREER integrates DFIND CAREER, a leading career services provider in British Columbia.
- OFFER 101 expands its global academic network with over 100 master's and Ph.D. mentors from Top 30 universities and more than 35 research programs at Top 50 institutions worldwide.
2024
- LOOK4 launches LOOK4THRIVE, a Vancouver-based non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to supporting high school students across Metro Vancouver.
- Graduate admissions enrollments through OFFER 101 exceed 2,000.
2025
- Academic planning enrollments exceed 3,000, supporting students across Canada's top universities, including the University of Toronto, UBC, McGill University, the University of Waterloo, and Western University.
- Total enrollments across tutoring, admissions, and academic planning services exceed 150,000.
- LOOK4 is invited by the Vancouver School Board (VSB) to contribute to its 10-Year Strategic Plan for International Education in Metro Vancouver.
2026
- LOOK4 Education Group marks a decade of educational excellence.
